My condolences to her entire family and circle of friends, we have had a long history together through the Mother's Club of Wheatley Heights and more importantly our daughter's, the friendships created over many years cannot be taken for granted, thank you. This day will always be an important day in my life. Diane & Amal took me to a college orientation this day. Without any carfare, without any idea on college or without any hope, Diane & Amal stood by my side and help me navigate through this process. I remember all of the knowledge you gave me about Long Island and welcoming me into your family with opened arms. Diane even bought me an Old Westbury shirt because she was SO sure about this school! I wish there was a way I can pay you back for being a mother to a motherless child this day. I’ll continue to think about you and give Amal all the love that I can give to her. THIS is how I will remember you, smiling! Smiling on all of the FaceTimes, smiling in all the times we shared, and with the beautiful smile in this picture. Thank you.
