Jerimiah Alexander Bulgin came into the world on October 27, 1945 from the union of Ivy Maude and George Bulgin in St. James, Jamaica.
Growing Up In Jamaica
Jerimiah or "Jerry" as he was called attended Sudbury Elementary School. At the age of 18 he began his training to become an electrician. He worked for L.E. Bell & Sons, and was chosen to manage the company after
Mr. Bell retired.
In 1968 while working he met his life partner Zelpha Elliot. They had two children, Ka-Ren and Patrina, and were married on April 18, 1981.
Life In The USA
He came to the United States in 1982 and began working with Hober Electric in Brooklyn, NY as a Master Electrician. In 1988 he moved his family to Long Island, and retired due to illnesses in 2005.
A Time To Celebrate His Life
To celebrate his home going he left his wife Zelpha; daughters
Ka-Ren and Patrina; grandchildren Paradise, Promise, Praise and Kellie; great-granddaughter Zeltrina; brothers Ruben and Glendon, their wives Rubel and Ivy respectively. Sister-in-law Elsada, widow of Rodley Bulgin; sisters Lesma and Colotha, their husbands Frazier Mackenzie and
Lee Austin respectively; cousins Jocelyn, Melrose, Velma and Velta who where like brothers and sisters, and countless nieces and nephews in Jamaica and the United States.
