Obituary of Mack Nell Smith

Mack Neil Smith was born to the late Louis and Willie Matt Smith, on July 5, 1936. He was born in Washington, Georgia. Mack Neil accepted Christ at a young age. He joined Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Washington, Georgia. Mack moved to Amityville in 1950. He attended Amityville school district in Amityville, New York. He resided in Amityville until his death. Mack Neil was employed as a construction worker most of his youthful years. He loved carpentry and mechanic work. He enjoyed gardening. He was known for his master piece recipe "Chop BarBar-Q". His family members insisted that he cook that for their family gatherings. He met Louise Jones, from this reunion was born five children. The late Tony Smith, Michael Smith, Jerry Smith, Lisa and Loresa Bruce Smith. Mack Neil leaves to mourn: two sons, Michael Smith, NJ and Jerry Smith, NY; two daughters, Loresa Bruce, VA and Lisa Smith, VA; one son-in-law, Robert Bruce Jr., VA; one daughter-in-law, Cynthia Smith, NY. Mack Neil has five siblings, two brothers that proceeded him in death. The late A.D. Sims and the late Willie E. Smith; two sisters, Sarah Anthony and Deutrice Smith, one brother, Kenny Smith. He has ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Mack Neil has a long time friend Laurie Butler.
