Obituary of Claudette Maureen Huie

Claudette Maureen Huie, 53 years old, born February 28, 1960 in Kingston Jamaica. Claudette attended Rousseau Primary and graduated from Norman Manley High School in 1978 with a high school diploma. Later Claudette migrated to the United Stated in 1989 where she worked at Pilgrims Psychiatric Hospital as nurses assistant and later worked at Brook Haven Memorial Hospital for over 18 years. She joined the New life Worship Center Congregation in the spring of 2013. She was diagnosed with lung cancer in the April of 2012. Her health gradually deteriorated over the period and she eventually succumb to her illness, may her soul rest in peace and light perpetual shine on her. Claudette lived in Brentwood Long Island for the last 21 years. She is survived by her Daughter Tamika; son Christopher; mother; four sisters and three brothers. A viewing will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at New Life Worship Center. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday January 18, at New Life Worship Center, 7 Sidney Court, Lindenhurst, NY 11798 followed by interment at Pine lawn Memorial Park.
