Obituary of Terry Booker
Terry Garrett was born on October 22, 1956 to Harriet Daniels Garrett and
Arthur Garrett Sr. She was the youngest of three children.
She attended school in Farmingdale, NY where she lived with her parents and
siblings Michelle Garrett and Arthur Garrett Jr.
At a very young age she found herself pregnant and married Craig T. Booker, the
father of her child. After all "Poppa"wouldn't have it any other way! From this union
she had two children. Wendy L. Booker and Lance D. Booker. As they realized they
had different views on life, they parted ways. They remained friends until her death.
Terry was known for her free spirit and goofy sense of humor. Some called her
Dingy, some called her nuts. But all above she was called friend. Terry was the life of
the party and would always make you laugh. Although she had many
struggles in life, she always covered it up with a smile.
Seventeen years ago, she united with a man she lived the rest of her life with. They
had much in common and she was the world to him. Ralph Little was Terry's soul
mate. They were inseparable. If you saw Ralph, Terry would shortly follow. Their
bond was so close, "Terry and Ralph" became one complete name.
Ralph and his family loved Terry dearly.
Preceding her in death are her parents and siblings. Harriett, Arthur, Sr., Michelle
and Arthur Garrett Jr. . Her mother-in-law whom she loved dearly, Fredonia
Booker. Two brothers-in-law, Lance and Jeffrey Booker.
She leaves to mourn two children, Wendy Booker and Lance Booker. Three step
children, Sanjay Adell, Trevor Booker and Shalysha Summit. Eight grandchildren,
DeZshaneé, Ira and Demetrius Boggett. A set of twins, Kareem and Karom,
Kaliyah, Solé and Page. Father-in-law Thomas Booker. Husband Craig Booker.
Three sisters-in-law, Candy, April and Jean. One brother-in-law Thommy.
A very dear nephew Demetrius Dixon.
Also in mourning are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and lifetime friends, Louise
Smallwood, Cynthia Baker, Tina Yearby, The Brown Sisters, Geneese Hawkins and
Judy Gilmore, just to name a few. The bond they share can never be severed.
