Obituary of Helen P. Hasgill

Mrs. Helen P. Hasgill died peaceably on Tuesday, December 10, 2015 in Sarasota, Florida, at the age of 98. Helen was born on October 15, 1917 in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Mr. & Mrs. Willard & Helen (Howland) Price. She graduated from New York University and taught elementary education throughout her career. She met and married Richard W. Hasgill, and they had one daughter, the late Edwina Hasgill. Helen was a gracious lady and an adventurous world traveler. She assisted her husband in the management of Richard W. Hasgill Funeral Homes in Amityville, New York. She is survived by her loving sister Betty J. Brown of Sarasota, Florida; nephew Ronald G. Brown of Sarasota, Florida; three nieces, several great nieces, nephews, brother-in-law Paul C. Hasgill of Natick, Massachusetts; other relatives and friends.
