Obituary of Steve J. Fauche

Steve Jacques Fauché was born on May 5, 1964 in Brooklyn, NY to Jules snd Nina Fauché, whom both proceded him in death. As a child Steve went to live in Haiti where he began his education at Saint Louis Gonzague Grammar School while residing in Haiti. He returned to the United States at the tender age of 8 to attend P.S. 38 in Queens, NY. Steve graduated from Martin Van Buren High School. Upon graduation Steve enrolled in Apex Technical school where he learned the trade of auto body. He loved working on cars, trucks and motorcycles. He went on to open two auto body shops and a trucking company. Steve was one of five children born to the late Jules and Nina Fauché. Steve has joined his older brother, Stanley, who has preceded him in death and leaves behind his devoted brother Jules Jr., loving sisters Nancy and Pascale, beloved children Justin (Kim, who has preceded him in death), Porscha (LaDon) and Terrell (Michele), stepchildren Sherice, LaRon, Monette, Kajsha, Julian and Jourdan treasured grandchildren Ethan and Nikolas, caring Sister-in-law Yenifer Fauché, along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, and countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. Steve loved listening to classic soul and Jamaican music, playing chess, working on cars, riding motorcycles, laughing, being with his family, having fun with friends and teaching others how to drive. Steve touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humour all the way to the end. Steve will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him.
